Beyond the thrill of the ride and the challenge of rough terrains, a deeper purpose brought riders together—one rooted in faith, service, and unity. What began as the roar of engines across rugged trails soon turned into a meaningful journey that touched lives and strengthened a community. Guided by the theme, “More Mountains to Climb, More Churches to Build,” the ZPM Trail Ministry, organized a trail event aimed at supporting the renovation of the Tiayon Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Held on March 22, 2026, at Purok Mahogany, Tiayon SDA Church, the activity gathered around 80 riders and volunteers. The event was spearheaded by Pastor Klenjay Sajulga- ZPM President, as part of the ministry’s outreach and community service efforts.

Not all participants came from the same faith, but they shared one purpose to help. Through their participation, the riders contributed to a cause bigger than themselves—restoring a place of worship for the local community.
“Dili lang gyud ni about sa pagpadagan og motor,” shared one of the riders, Julisar Navaja. “Usa sa nakita nako sa among kalihokan nga makatabang gyud, mao ang pag-participate ug paghatag og hinabang para sa simbahan sa Tiayon.”

For Julisar Navaja, the trail was not without challenges. He recalled a moment when his motorcycle broke down mid-ride—testing not only his patience but his determination. “Halos nawad-an nako og gana, mo-back out na unta ko. Pero wala ko pasagdi sa Ginoo. Naay mitabang nako—mga marshals ug kauban riders. Kung wala sila, dili gyud ko maka-finish. Dako kaayo kog pasalamat nila.”
His story reflects the deeper spirit of the event: resilience, faith, and the power of community support that carried riders through difficult moments.

According to Edren Gapuzan- Church Elder, the Trail Ministry goes beyond recreation and plays a vital role in outreach, especially in remote areas. “Dako kaayo ni’g tabang, ilabina sa mga lugar nga layo. Dili lang ni lingaw sa riders—kundi usa ka paagi sa paghatag sa pulong sa Ginoo ug pagtabang sa komunidad.”
He added that unity within the group is essential for the success of the ministry. “Ug dili gyud ni mahimong malampuson kung walay panaghiusa sa matag miyembro.”

While the riders took on the trails, another group quietly made an impact off the road. Women and youth volunteers from Tiayon and Maasin 2 organized a feeding program for children in Barangay Maasin.
More than just providing meals, the activity also included values formation and learning sessions led by Fernalyn Sajulga- Children’s Ministries/MSA Director, ensuring that the children received both nourishment and guidance.

This combined effort highlights the true mission of the ZPM Trail Ministry—to serve with purpose, strengthen faith, and bring people together through meaningful action.
As the event came to a close, one thing became clear: the ZPM Trail is not just about conquering mountains, but about building lives and creating impact through unity, faith, and service.
