Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay – In the heart of Diplahan, as the Sabbath sun cast a golden hue, the Municipal Gymnasium became a sanctuary for reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. The Zone 6 Women’s Fellowship, an assembly of Adventist women from Diplahan, Bayog, Buug, Bayog Central Church, and LaKum districts, convened on September 13, 2025, for a day dedicated to faith, fellowship, and the celebration of womanhood.
The atmosphere was one of hushed reverence, a gentle hum of anticipation filling the air as women gathered, their faces alight with quiet joy. The gymnasium, usually a space for physical exertion, was transformed into a haven for spiritual nourishment.
Dr. Kay P. Ramos, the day’s guest speaker, graced the podium with an air of wisdom and warmth. Her message, entitled “God’s Great Gifts,” resonated deeply with the assembled women. She spoke of the unique talents and capabilities bestowed upon women, emphasizing their innate ability to multitask and nurture.
“Women,” Dr. Ramos declared, her voice filled with conviction, “are blessed with the extraordinary gift of multitasking. They are able to juggle countless responsibilities, seamlessly transitioning from one task to another. This is not merely a skill, but a divine endowment. Men, it is your duty to recognize and appreciate the women in your lives. Give thanks to God for creating them as your partners, your companions, your equals.”
Dr. Ramos further elaborated on the theme of partnership, highlighting the importance of mutual respect, understanding, and support within relationships. She shared poignant anecdotes and biblical parables, illustrating the vital role women have played throughout history as mothers, caregivers, leaders, and pillars of strength.
Following Dr. Ramos’ inspiring address, Pastor Cart Gladden T. Aguillon, ZPM Communication Director, led the congregation in a deeply moving dedicatory prayer. His words, imbued with sincerity and faith, invoked blessings upon the women, their families, and their ongoing spiritual journeys. The prayer served as a powerful reminder of the unwavering faith that binds the community together, providing solace and strength in times of both joy and adversity.
Throughout the day, the women engaged in quiet conversations, sharing personal experiences and offering words of encouragement to one another. The fellowship provided a safe and nurturing space for women to connect on a profound level, fostering bonds of friendship and sisterhood that transcend geographical boundaries.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the gymnasium, the Zone 6 Women’s Fellowship drew to a close. The women departed with renewed spirits and a deeper sense of purpose, carrying with them the lessons and blessings of the day.
The whispers of wisdom and faith shared within those walls would undoubtedly continue to resonate in their hearts and minds, guiding them on their individual paths of spiritual growth and service.
