Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay — The Zamboanga Peninsula Mission (ZPM) recently hosted a spiritually enriching event that brought together members of Ipil Districts 1 and 2. The Joint District Caregroup Evangelism Camp, held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at the ZPM Adventist Convention Center, focused on deepening faith, promoting unity, and equipping participants with practical lessons for spiritual growth.
The event’s theme song, “Caregroup, Get Involved,” emphasized the importance of community and active participation in ministry. Participants were inspired by the lyrics: “The fields are vast and plenty, but reapers are few. Let us join our hands to caregroup, get involved.”
The program included a series of compelling seminars presented by distinguished speakers. Sir Victor Palin, ZPM Education Director, delivered a session on the power of Scripture and its relevance in everyday life. Other r topics explored by Pastor Paulmarc Caberte included biblical prophecies and their connection to contemporary events, the Second Coming, the significance of God’s commandments and Sabbath observance, health and lifestyle principles rooted in biblical teachings, stewardship and its vital role in supporting God’s work, and a vision of heaven as the eternal reward for the faithful.
The final day of the event featured a Sports and Games Day, promoting camaraderie and physical well-being. The program concluded with an Awarding and Closing Ceremony, where participants were recognized for their dedication and contributions throughout the camp.
One participant shared, “This camp has been a remarkable opportunity to grow spiritually while building stronger bonds with fellow believers.”
The Joint District Caregroup Evangelism Camp exemplified ZPM’s commitment to nurturing faith, fostering unity, and equipping members to actively contribute to the mission of the church.
