Harvest Caravan for Mission 2025: Equipping Leaders for a Greater Mission

Mission February 25, 2025

As February’s final Sabbath sunrise painted the sky with hues of blessings, the Harvest Caravan for Mission 2025 kickstarted at Buug District Central Church, bringing together Zamboanga Peninsula Mission (ZPM) leaders, pastors, and brethren for a powerful faith-building event. This initiative serves as a platform to equip church leaders—including elders, women, and youth leaders—with the skills and spiritual strength needed to effectively spread the Gospel. One resource person emphasized, “Nagahimo kita aning Harvest 2025 aron masangkapan ang mga kaigsoonan sa ilang pakiglambo sa bulohaton sa Ginoo.” (We are doing this Harvest 2025 to equip our brethren in their growth in God’s work.)

Held on February 21, 2025, the Zone Fellowship in Buug District became a key gathering for church leaders from Zone 6, fostering unity, learning, and a renewed commitment to evangelism. Inspired by the Biblical call to discipleship, the event highlighted the importance of preparing and sending workers into the field: “How shall they preach, except they be sent?” Through shared messages and testimonies, speakers reinforced that just as farmers collaborate to bring in a harvest, believers must work together in faith to spread God’s message and nurture spiritual growth.

Local church leaders were reminded that pastors, leaders, and members are co-workers in God’s service, building on a foundation of faith and perseverance. This initiative plays a crucial role in preparing them for the upcoming Harvest Caravan in two months, where they will further their outreach efforts, touching more lives with the message of hope and salvation.

The Harvest Caravan for Mission 2025 has reignited a passion for evangelism, reminding everyone that from seeds of faith to a harvest of hope, the mission continues. As these dedicated leaders move forward, their unity and commitment will be instrumental in strengthening communities and bringing more souls to Christ. The harvest is plentiful, and together, through God’s grace, they will reap a bountiful spiritual harvest.
