Lopoc, Labason, Zamboanga Del Norte recently hosted the Zone 3-Wide Stewardship Intensified Seminar with the theme “Jesus is Coming, Get Involved.” The event gathered Stewardship Coordinators, Church Elders, and Church Treasurers from various congregations. The primary objective of the seminar was to encourage every church member to “Give God First Through Regular and Systematic Giving.”
The seminar featured insightful sessions led by the SWPUC Stewardship Director, Ptr. Michael O. Capapas, and the ZPM Stewardship Director, Ptr. Pepito Natividad. Both directors emphasized the importance of stewardship and the role of each church member in supporting the church’s mission. They urged the delegates to relay the message to their respective congregations, highlighting the significance of faithful tithing and the Combined Offering Plan (COP).
Ptr. Capapas and Ptr. Natividad inspired the attendees with their passionate appeals, reminding them that “God loveth a cheerful giver.” They stressed that stewardship is not just about financial contributions but also about dedicating time and talents to the church’s work. The directors’ messages resonated deeply with the delegates, who left the seminar motivated to engage their communities in the stewardship campaign.
The seminar concluded with a commitment from the delegates to actively involve every church member, young and old, in the practice of regular and systematic giving. The event was seen as a significant step towards fostering a culture of generosity and faithfulness within the church community, ensuring that everyone is prepared for the imminent return of Jesus.
